On October 24th, 2022, our French project partner Institut Mines-Télécom Business School held the first Personal Projects Valorisation (PVP) workshop, where social sciences and humanities (SSH) researchers from the REVALORISE+ training program had an opportunity to present their valorisation projects and address their research results or projects, initial valorisation idea, motivation for valorisation, current research situation, expected results, and timeline.
The PVP workshop was organised in a blended format where training participants presented online and on site at the same time.
IMTBS research associate, Nina Brankovic hosted the workshop, supported by two research associates from the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and Prof. Dr Blaison Christophe from the Université Paris Cité.
Training participants received valuable feedback on their valorisation projects and instructions on how to advance the valorisation process further. After the PVP workshop, participants and staff continued their discussions over lunch followed by a networking event organised for the same day. Everyone could exchange knowledge and establish new partnerships and networks.
IMTBS is looking forward to hosting two more PVP workshops, to uncover more valorisation ideas and create opportunities to engage SSH researchers. SSH valorisation is ‘an interactive process’ and this PVP workshop was organised and executed in such a way to encourage everyone’s engagement.
