A free training programme for Social Sciences & Humanities researchers who want to create societal impact from their work.

About the programme

The REVALORISE+ Researcher Training is a 3-month European programme which will help you extend the reach of your Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) research beyond academia. The programme will take place in a blended format with some activities taking place online and others in-person at your HEI.

Participants in the Valorisation Pathway also have the opportunity to develop their own valorisation plans for creating impact from their research.

Through taking part in the programme’s international workshops, seminars and networking, you will learn:

How to assess the value and impact of research beyond traditional indicators
Principles of entrepreneurial behaviour
How to communicate the value of your research
Make an impact with your research

Who should participate?

PhD STUDENTS & EXPERIENCED RESEARCHERS that are conducting Social Sciences & Humanities research at a higher education institution or are affiliated with one.

Pathways

TWO PATHWAYS are available for participants: whether you simply want to learn more about what it means to valorise your academic work, or you already have research out of which you want to create greater value.

IDEAL PARTICIPANTS	PhD students & experienced researchers that want to learn more about the concepts of research valorisation and impact creation	PhD students & experienced researchers that have research results/projects with the potential to create societal impact
FOCUS	Learn about the importance of valorisation and how it can be undertaken and supported	Learn about the importance of valorisation and how it can be undertaken and supported. Additionally, you will be guided through the process of creating your own valorisation plan to create impact from your research

Personal Valorisation Projects

Personal Valorisation Projects (PVPs) are central to the REVALORISE+ Researcher Training. Each participant undertaking the Valorisation Pathway will be guided through the process of completing a PVP based on their own research ideas or project. Throughout the programme, each participant will provide details about their PVP, which they will present in the final month of the Programme.

For Valorisation Pathway participants, the total number of hours scheduled in the REVALORISE+ Researcher Training Programme is 39 hours (including presence during the PVP workshops and presentations of other participants). This does not include time required to advance projects outside of scheduled activities.
